1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us. If you submit the quote request form, that is:

• your name
• your company name
• your email address
• your telephone number, if you choose to give one
• the engineering discipline you select
• the project description you write
• any drawing or reference document you attach

Your project description and any attached file are free-form, so please send only what is necessary for us to price the work. Avoid including personal details about other people, or commercially sensitive material, unless it is genuinely needed.

Our hosting provider also records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser type. This is generated automatically by the server and is used to keep the site running and secure.

3. What we do not collect

This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media pixels, and it stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so simply visiting a page sends no request to any third party. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use the details you submit for one purpose: to read your enquiry, assess the work and reply to you with a quotation or a follow-up question. Your enquiry is seen only by our own team.

We never sell your information. We do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry.

Our legal basis under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR is Article 6(1)(b) — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract — and, where an enquiry does not lead to a contract, Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us about our services. For server logs, our legal basis is Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

We do not ask for special category data, and you should not send any through this form.

5. Who else handles it

Your enquiry passes through a small number of service providers who act on our instructions:

• Resend — delivers the form submission to us as an email. Resend is based in the United States.
• Google (Gmail) — stores the enquiry once it reaches our inbox. Google is based in the United States.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and generates the server logs described above.

Because some of these providers operate outside the UK and the European Economic Area, your information may be transferred internationally. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider. We can tell you more on request.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for 24 months, so that we have context if you come back to us, after which we delete them.

Where an enquiry becomes a project, the records form part of that project file and are kept for as long as we need them for the engagement and to meet our legal, accounting and professional obligations.

7. Keeping it secure

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and your submission is transmitted to us over encrypted channels. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is limited to the people who need it.

No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure. If you need to send genuinely sensitive technical material, contact us first and we will agree a secure route.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to our use of your information.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond within one month. Exercising them is free.

If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl); in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). You may also complain to the authority where you live or work.

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Please check it from time to time.
