Comprehensive review and improvement of deck layout with all new locations for equipment fully assessed for sea voyage and deck strength requirements. Additional space was produced by designing multipurpose deck frames, where were also designed to withstand full towing and pushing forces.
Strict total weight capacity limits and physical space constraints presented major challenges during the deck layout review. The design required reducing structural mass while maintaining safe, ergonomic access under harsh offshore conditions.
The most suitable design option was selected after conducting a full review of deck strength, required sea fastening, and additional equipment like pushing frames. End result was fully verified using FEA software.
The solution was highly praised by the site crew, as the optimized layout significantly reduced mobilization time. Utilizing the newly freed-up deck space for essential equipment streamlined operations, making the entire project safer and more efficient than before.
